5 Years for 5 reasons



IC Realtime consistently strive to delivery high quality professional grade equipment. We have stringent and robust quality control policies that have allowed us to introduce a 5 Year Warranty on selected products which can be identified on the IC Realtime product pricelist (Q Guide 2018v3). If there are any enquiries relating to warranty terms, please consult with your IC Realtime representative.

ICRealtime will repair or replace (if necessitated) without charge any ICRealtime branded product proved defective in material, workmanship or operation for a period of Five (5) years from date of purchase, subject to warranty conditions and exceptions below.

If during the warranty period we cannot repair your product, we will replace the product with a working product of the same model or if the same model is not available with a comparable product.

5 Year Warranty Conditions & Exceptions

  1. IC Realtime’s 5 Year Warranty only applies to purchases made from May 9th 2016 onwards and from October 1st 2018 on selected products as per published IC Realtime price guide.

  2. This Warranty policy applies to purchases made from ICRealtime Ireland Limited and ICRealtime UK Limited

  3. All returns must have a ICRealtime RMA number displayed on the return shipment carton or label. Returns received without an RMA number visible will be refused and returned to the sender unopened.

  4. ICRealtime assumes no risk and shall be subject to no liability for damages or loss resulting from the specific use or application made of the Products. ICRealtime’s liability for any claim, whether based on breach of contract, negligence, infringement of any rights of any party or product liability, relating to the Products shall not exceed the price paid to ICRealtime for such Products or the published (Dealer price at the time of sale), whichever is less.

  5. In no event will ICRealtime be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of use, loss of profit and claims of third parties) however caused, whether by the negligence of ICRealtime or otherwise.

  6. For warranty repaired or replaced products, ICRealtime will warrant all replacement parts and repairs for the remainder of the original warranty, or 90 days from the date of ICRealtime repair/replacement return shipment, whichever is longer.

  7. Repairs made necessary by reason of misuse, alteration, accident or cosmetic damage such as finish fading or scratches & scuffs are not covered under this warranty.

  8. Exceptions as follows; IR Rings (the illumination ring circuit board, LEDs and Components mounted on the board), Hard Drives and Power Supplies. These components are covered for three (3) years

  9. Any product sold by ICRealtime but not manufactured by ICRealtime is warranted only by the original manufactures warranty, no other warranty of any kind is offered or implied.

  10. Warranty terms on all re-conditioned product is determined at point of sale and isn’t covered under this policy.

Return Procedure

Any product(s) to be returned for repair requires a RMA number. This can only be obtained from our technical support department. Out technical support team will always attempt to fix the issue remotely however if this is unsuccessful, the faulty unit needs to be returned to our warranty department. All items that are returned to ICRealtime without a RMA will NOT be accepted and returned to sender.

Returning for Repair/Replacement

Items must be returned without any physical damage and/or alterations. All items must be carefully protected to ensure no damage is done in transit.

All repairs or replacements are governed by our warranty policy that was current at the time of purchase.

Any item(s) furnished with a valid RMA number will need the following:

  1. The associated RMA number(s) clearly visible on 2 sides of the returned shipping box.

  2. Item must not fall under Voided Warranty conditions (see Voided Warranty section).

  3. All serialised products must have the original serial numbers still present and clearly legible.

  4. The customer must provide the original proof of purchase (Sales Order or Invoice number).

Voided Warranty

Items deemed void under the ICRealtime Warranty Policy are as follows:

  1. The associated RMA number(s) clearly visible on 2 sides of the returned shipping box.

  2. Product cabling that have been damaged or cut (e.g. power, video, Ethernet).

  3. Cracked/damaged glass or dome coverings.

  4. Damaged by ‘Acts of God’ (lightning and tornadoes, flooding, hurricanes etc.) misuse, abuse, accidents, negligence, improper installation, mishandling, misapplication, liquids, or other causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship.

  5. Serial number and/or product label is defaced, altered, or removed.

  6. Item(s) are dismantled, disassembled, self-repaired, modified, or altered by anyone other than an ICRealtime technician.

  7. Products that are deemed faulty or defective due to modification, painting or tampering with.

  8. Cracks or other cosmetic damage as a result of accident or abuse.

  9. Equipment that is damaged during shipping due to customer improperly packing the equipment when returning to ICRealtime.
